Our tagline at Little Yogis is ‘Positivity & Movement for Busy Minds’ as we aim to improve physical, mental, and emotional health through our curriculum. We partner with schools, childcare centers, non-profit and for-profit organizations to improve the health and wellness of communities. 


At Little Yogis, we have 4 key reasons for teaching mindful movement to children:

  • Empower Youth: Our approach empowers youth by allowing them to become more aware by learning how to relax their bodies and minds. They learn more about their minds, and how they can affect not only their own attitudes and approaches to life, but also the attitudes of others.

  • Build Positive School Communities: Yoga teaches acceptance and tolerance of others. In practicing yoga, kids learn early in life that all living beings are to be cherished and respected as they are, thus helping to create more peaceful local communities and a more peaceful world in our future.

  • Tools for Life: Yoga encourages a mindfulness that creates a positive outlook, increases confidence, and builds resilience tools that kids can use their entire lives. Children need the tools to succeed through life’s constant ups and downs and yoga can help in so many ways.

  • Encourage a Healthy/Active Lifestyle: Any exercise program begun in childhood helps kids to remain physically active and healthy as a lifestyle. However, yoga takes that further by teaching not only the healthy habits mentioned above, but also a healthy approach to eating and the ability to calm oneself and focus on the mind.

CEO, Little Yogis Michelle Faber

Michelle Faber is the Founder and CEO of Little Yogis, a leading yoga & mindfulness education program based in Canada. A Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher and successful Entrepreneur she has found much success within the yoga & mindfulness community and has quickly become an authority on the subject. As a young adult,Michelle learned to optimize her mental health through yoga and mindfulness, and when she saw signs of anxiety in her son, she began sharing her favourite practices with him. Seeing how much his emotional control and overall happiness improved inspired Michelle to create a company that would help other children in the same way, and in 2019 she founded Little Yogis. Her vision was to provide wellness curriculum in all schools so that children would become more resilient to life’s stresses. With a background in Marketing and TV/Film, she has become well known within Canada, as she is a regular figure on TV chatting with media about the benefits of yoga & mindfulness for kids. She has also been featured in many publications (both print and online). Her mission is to make the world a kinder place through early intervention. She believes if we arm our youngest learners with the tools to cope through life’s challenges, we can greatly increase the happiness and overall wellbeing of our students. She is dedicated to making the tools of yoga & mindfulness accessible and available to all children.
